Why we collect customer information
We collect and use customer information to give a superior service, to provide the customer with convenient access to our products and services, and to make a wider range of products available. In addition, we use the information to keep our customers up to date on the latest product announcements, software updates, special offers, and other developments that we think customers would like to hear about. From time to time, we may also use the information to request the participation in a market research survey, so that we can gauge customer satisfaction and develop better products.
Please note that we do not bulk email to personal email addresses for marketing purposes (spam).

Access to customer information
Customers have access to the information held on our database. If you would like to review information that we may have about you as a customer, e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Collecting other information
We do not automatically collect customer information when a customer uses the Absolute Pearls website. We do however automatically collect information not linked to individual customer identity, including but not limited to browser type, screen resolution, time spent on the website, pages visited & actions taken. We use this information to continuously improve our customer’s experience of the website.
In e-mails to customers, we may use a ‘click-through URL’. When a customer clicks one of these URLs, they may pass through our webserver before arriving at the destination website. We track click-throughs to help us determine interest in particular topics and to measure the effectiveness of our customer communications.
Our company-wide commitment to privacy
To make sure customer information remains confidential; we make every effort to communicate these privacy guidelines to all Absolute Pearls employees.
We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children or send them requests for personal information.
The Absolute Pearls website may contain links to other websites. We do not share customer information with those websites and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage customers to learn about the privacy policies of those companies.
If we are going to use customer information differently from that stated at the time of collection, we will try to contact the customer via e-mail, using the most recent information we have. If a customer has not given us permission to communicate with them, the customer will not be contacted, nor will we use the customer’s information in a new manner.
